William (Bill) Alexander Brown

February 19, 2020 By Egan Funeral Home 88 Condolences

Brown Bill Webframe

June 2, 1967 – February 16, 2020

On Sunday, February 16, 2020, Bill Brown, husband, father, son and brother, passed away suddenly at the age of 52 years. Bill will be forever remembered by his wife Michele and their precious daughter Shannon. A loving son to parents Dorothy (predeceased) and Al (predeceased), Bill (Pops) and Elaine (Ma) Lytle and loving brother to Ellen (Kibben), Gail (Sean), Lori (Brian), Dawn (predeceased) (John), Jim (Mimi), Diane (Steve), Valerie, Chris (Kathy) and Bob (Sue).

Bill will be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends and co-workers.

Bill adored his daughter Shannon, she was his world. If you were lucky enough to be present when they were together, you could feel his pride and joy. Bill attended all Shannon’s basketball games and even coached her soccer team for a season. They spent many summers together at the cottage where Bill taught Shannon to fish, ride an ATV, drive a car and a boat. Bill believed that sports and physical activity is important for every child. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in his memory to the Jumpstart Program, Caledon (c/o Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, 2180 Yonge Street, PO Box 770, Station K, Toronto M4P 2V8)

No Farewell Words Were Spoken.

No Time To Say Goodbye,

You Were Gone Before We Knew It,

And Only God Knows Why.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Sunday afternoon from 1-5 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in Holy Family Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Monday morning, February 24 at 11 o’clock, officiated by Pastor Darren Mclean. Followed by cremation. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

I was saddened to learn of Bill’s passing. I met him in grade 3 and went to school with him through to high school. I kept in touch with his dad (Big Al) yearly and so enjoyed hearing about all of the Brown kids, and their kids. But I particularly remember how proud Bill’s dad was of Bill”s career with the Peel School Board. More recently, I remember how proudly Bill would post Shannon’s athletic accomplishments. Shannon, this will be a tremendous loss to you and your mom, but I am quite certain that his love and pride will help you through the toughest times ahead. Best Barbara Jo (Bj) Caruso

So sorry to hear this. I remember Billy as a child growing up at the Brampton Tennis Club. He had such personality and a great smile.
My thoughts are with you all.
