Peacefully while surrounded by family and close friends at Southlake Regional Health Care Centre, Newmarket, on Sunday, January 8, 2017, Susan June Tobin, in her 70th year. Loving mother of Shannon and her husband Kevin Hunt, Norman and his wife Jennifer Tobin, Amanda Tobin, Cynthia Caglayan, Christian Tobin, and remembered by their father the late Michael Tobin. Proud Nana of Brittney, Nicholas and Ethan Hunt; Jordan and Sarah Tobin; Izayea, Mahlique, and Mikaelah Tobin; Catharine and Zakary Caglayan. Dear sister of Carolynne Blacklock, Tom Dickinson, Anne McMillan and the late Mary Johnson. Fondly remembered by Ann Kilpatrick and Joanne Saraiva. We would like to express our deepest thanks to Dr. Shaquil Kassam and the amazing medical team at the Stronach Cancer Center as well as Dr. Barry Nathanson and all of the nurses in the Emergency Department and I.C.U. at Southlake Regional Health Center.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday, January 12 from 2 o’clock until time of memorial service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Southlake Regional Health Care Centre, 596 Davis Drive, Newmarket, or the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre, 595 Davis Drive, Newmarket.
