    Sherry,
Seems like yesterday that we were teenagers sun tanning on the back of the boat at your parent’s cottage reading cheesy romance novels! I was so excited to be invited to my brother’s girlfriends place, and to get to know you and your family better. It was there that I saw you slalom water ski for the first time and you were nothing short of amazing! Strong and in total control, crossing the wake, rounding the buoys & finishing with a beautiful glide towards the shore.
You lived your life this way too! With strength and courage, love, kindness & common sense, …navigating life’s obstacles with calm level headed judgement right to the last chapter!
Your infectious laughter, and fun-loving positive nature are forever a part of all of us who had the privilege to know you. I know you have a front row seat up there in Heaven’s theatre, watching over Chad, Alana and Paul, and all your family and friends!
I can see your beautiful smile and it gives me strength!
I love you and miss you!
    Tam

    Dear Paul & Family,

As young children we where together many times and those are and will always be the happiest of times. I so enjoyed going to the family cottage . We would all gather in the little boat and go to the blue jay store and explore around clear lake. Boat rides whilst listening to Uncle Bills (tapes) oh it is bittersweet how these are flooding my mind in the past few days. The memories will always be in my heart and they will always bring a warm smile. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Deepest sympathy, Brenda, Colin , Cody, Kyle ,Tyler & Family

    Paul, Chad, Alana, and family,
There are no words to express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Sherry was a joy to be with. She was always positive, always happy, always laughing. So many of my happiest days involved her. Our Girls trips were highlights of my years. We always had such fun, no matter how awful the weather was. The first of our annual trips took place at Sherry’s cottage. It rained for the whole week, but between daily trips to the liquor store, lots of cards, junk food and dirty Scrabble, it was awesome. I am going to miss her dreadfully, but not even close to as much as I know you all will. I am so sorry.

    April 12, 2021 at 12:58 pm

Over the past week, I continue to flash back to the various “Sherry” memories. Her love for staying in her PJs all day long (never understood that one :). Her love of chips as her favourite snack. Having to get her unstuck when skidooing around the turd line. Her nick name of Sherry-Erin when all of us stayed together as the parents went to Hawaii at various times. Staying at the Core cottage for 3 weeks the first summer I went up there….forgot to go home, it was a little too much fun! How Bill would call her “pork chop”. And yes, ok the first time we drank too much of the parents booze. It only happended once (ok twice). She will be more than missed , and big hugs to Paul and the kids and the Core Family. Love you guys! Mel
