Peacefully at The Davis Centre, Bolton on Sunday, August 31, 2014, (the day after her 93rd birthday), Ruby Barnes, beloved wife of the late Harry Scott. Loving mother of Thelma and Jim Cannon, Caledon East; Calvin and Aurelie Scott, Gravenhurst; Doug and Linda Scott, Lafontaine; Mike and Judi Scott, Gravenhurst; Connie Foote, Orangeville; Wendy Ash and Dale Anderson, Orangeville. Will be sadly missed by 11 grandchildren. Also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-granddaughters. Dear daughter of the late William and Clara Barnes, Gravenhurst. Will be mourned by her sisters Grace McCumber, Lucille Jones, Doreen Beatty and predeceased by her brothers Bill, Harold and Keith Barnes. Dear companion of the late Harold Learmont, Bolton.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, September 5 at 2 o’clock.
Interment Caledon East Public Cemetery.
