Peacefully on Thursday November 19, 2015 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Roger Hay in his 76th year, beloved husband of Brenda Hay, loving father of Sandra and Gary Gooderham, Carolyn Hay, and predeceased by Barbara Hay. Cherished grandfather of Amanda and Peter Sopher, and Robyn and James McTaggart. Proud great-grandfather of Brody, Brooke, Nolan and Austin. Adored brother of Catherine Sutherland. Remembered by nieces Lynda Dermott and Donna Reddington.
Memorial Service will be held at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50) Bolton (905-857-2213) on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 11 o’clock, followed by a private family interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton. It is with heavy heart that I hear of Rogers passing. My condolence go out to Brenda and the Hay family.
I have found memories of Roger, he had a wonderful smile, and great laugh. He liked to joke around with you, share ideas, and always help you if he could. He like having his own business, and having his family work along side him. I will remember Roger as a giving and caring man, who helped my growth as a young adult. Roger will be greatly missed by his family and those who cared dearly for him….my you shine your smile upon us….
