Peacefully at Mackenzie Health Centre, on Wednesday, January 21st, 2015, Robert William Brockie, Bolton, in his 77th year, beloved husband of 55 years to Elizabeth Brockie. Loving father of Christine and her husband Frank Saraceni, Robert and his wife Gabriella Brockie. Adored grandfather of Sandra, Anthony, Alana and Lucas. Remembered by his brother Ronald and his wife Ruth Brockie, and his sister Nancy and her husband Reg Harris. Remembered by his sisters-in-law Pat and Joni. Also remembered by his brother-in-law and dear friend Maurice, brothers-in-law Raymond and John, and predeceased by Don and Marie. Robert will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will receive their friends at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning, January 24 at 11 o’clock. Followed by cremation.
If desired, donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
