Philomena McGarvey (nee Sullivan) passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 89 years of age. Philomena will be greatly missed by her devoted husband Thomas; daughters Margaret, Susan, and Pauline (Massimo); son-in-law John; grandchildren Olivia, Justin, Harrison, Gillian, Oliver, and Ethan; and, sister Theresa. In passing, Philomena will be joyfully reunited with her dear daughter Catherine. She will be lovingly remembered for her energy, generosity, and unbridled passion for hockey and baseball. Philomena battled her chronic illnesses with stoicism and grace. She was able to remain in the comfort of her home with the assistance of her many doctors, nurses, and support workers, to whom the family is greatly indebted.
Due to the global pandemic, a private Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton with interment in Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Woodbridge.
