Peacefully, at King Nursing Home, Bolton, on Monday, June 10, 2013, Muriel Iris Whitehurst, in her 89th year, beloved wife of the late John Heinz. Loving mother of Darrell and Linda Heinz, Lesley Joy Heinz and Al Ross, Haldon and Bev Heinz, Roderick Heinz (deceased) and Helen, Laird and Bev Heinz, Laurel and Graham Postma, and Angie Heinz. Cherished grandmother of Julie, Natalie, Andrew, Joel, Gary, Greg, Geoff, Tim, Steven, Roderick Jr., Brendan, Curtis, Erin, Jackson, Robyn, Billie, John and fondly remembered by her numerous great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Marilyn and predeceased by Edward, Monica and Miriam. Lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law Dolly and Richard (deceased) Hallsworth, Claudia and Jack Bant.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday, June 12 from one o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 o’clock. Followed by cremation. Following the funeral service, family and friends are invited to Caledon Woods Golf Club, 15608 Regional Road 50, Bolton.
