Peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Born 1927 on the Ninth Line of Albion in her 89th year. Best friend and beloved wife of Walter McCabe for 69 years. They farmed south of Bolton for 24 years and moved to Thornton in 1970. Loving mother of Ross McCabe and his wife Barbara, Palgrave; Stephen McCabe and his wife Margaret, Thornton. Loving grandmother of Mason McCabe and his wife Jessica Carter, Thornton and Kyle McCabe, St. Catharines. Cherished great-grandmother of Thomas, Liam and Avery McCabe. Marguerite was predeceased by her parents Bertha and William Wilson and her brothers; Edgar Wilson and his wife Ruth and Robert Wilson survived by his wife Enid who is living in London. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Saturday, May 28 from 12 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 o’clock.
Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.
