Peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on Saturday, September 6, 2014, Mary Kosztandy, of Brampton, in her 80th year, beloved wife of Stephen Kosztandy. Loving mother of Betti Stock and Don Smith; Karl Stock and Helen. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie and her husband Shawn Baker, Melanie Stock and her fiancé Morgen Baker. Adored great-grandmother of Karli and Jake Baker. Dear daughter of the late Maxwell and Mary Cooper. Dear sister of Betty (deceased), Shirley and her husband Don, Doreen and her husband Junior (deceased), Marina, and Christine (Calvin). Dear sister-in-law of Mary Sandor and her family.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S., (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday evening 7 – 9 o’clock and Friday morning, September 12 from 10 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o’clock.
Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.

So sad to receive the news of my Aunt Mary’s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this very difficult time. Mary has always been a joy to be around, with her laughter and dry sense of humor. She will certainly be fondly remembered by me and my family. I still have the abundance of cards that she has sent to me over 50 years, and I will treasure those along with her memory for the rest of my years. Truly a lovely woman both inside and out.
