We. were so fortunate to live next to Martin and Theresa for a number of years…it was fun to watch Martin work on his various shop projects as Theresa tended the garden…and the cats!
Martin and Kim loved working on boats together and we had some memorable boating outingsi And there was always chores in the woods…Theresa and Martin could put up 10 cords in a week…exceptional workers!
Martin left us in a stunning way….but I’m sure he got an express ticket to heaven! Hopefully we’ll all join him again some day.
Our lives were better because of Martin…he helped all of us.

  18. Judith and Anthony Greco and Family

    September 17, 2012 at 6:37 pm

    Dear Teresa, Joe and Barb,

Our sincere heartfelt sympathy and our deepest condolences on Martin’s tragic passing. Martin was such a brilliant presence in our lives for over 19 years, he was a master millwright/mechanic and solved many complicated Greco projects over the years with skill and humour, Martin was always available when needed and always a pleasure to see. He would race across the street summer or winter on his three wheeler, bare chested with cutoff rubber boots or big ripped working snowsuit always ready to solve and work the problem. He adored his wife and looked forward to the vacations with her, then right back to work. Anthony is heartbroken and will forever miss his dearest friend, many nights he spent in the shop with Martin, every minute he loved being with him, our children are shocked and deeply saddened. Martin has left a void in our lives that cannot be filled.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time!

For you Resi we wish you strength during this so very difficult time. Please do not hesitate to call on us .

Martin I am shocked and sad,
we had our differences of opinion on many occasions
but you will always be in our heart and mind
as a kind man, ready to help when ever needed.
You will be right beside me, when I finish, alone, the
project on my tractor that we discussed, I will build it
    the way you suggested it.

    Dear Rezi,

so sorry to lose so prematurely such a dear friend as Martin, always cheerful, full of life and optimism. We are grateful for all the time we had together and really glad that we were together 2 weekends ago. We will always have Martin in our memories and in our hearts… We moved closer again so that we could spend more time visiting together – go fishing, go on trips and so on. With his passing he left such a huge void in our lives and we’ll miss him forever.

Our sincere condolences to you, Joe, Barb and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Rezi, don’t forget to call and lean on us at any time. Warm (((((hugs)))))

    September 18, 2012 at 8:19 pm

From the first day Vito and Martin met they had an instant connection. They helped each other in any way they could.

Many laughs were shared between them (and even some dancing too).

We were overjoyed to have such a great neighbour and already feel the loss.

We’ll remember Martin for his spunky personality, and the kindness he showed to us.

We feel privileged to have known Martin if only for a year.

Our sincere condolences to the Grelic family, may you find peace in knowing how much he was loved.

    Dear Resi,

we just met a few times, when I was visiting Gisela & Jürgen on my vacations, but it was always an honor to be your guest.

I remember Martin as a gentle, happy, nice and warm guy. It was fun, to share a story with him or having to help out with some computer problems.

I was really looking forward to see him again on my next visit.
So I was shocked to hear about his passing, but I am sure to meet him again sometime at another place.

My sincere condolences to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Greetings from Germany
