Peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital, on Saturday, February 9, 2019, Mario De Luca, at the age of 88 years, beloved husband of the late Ida De Luca. Loving father of Domenic De Luca (deceased), Maria and her husband Nino Paglia, Antonio De Luca (deceased). Cherished Nonno of Nicholas, Alicia and Garrett Billings, and Melissa Paglia. Proud Great-Nonno of Brock and Charlotte Billings. Dear brother of Saveria, Rita, and the late Stano, Luigi, and Ida.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Friday evening from 5 – 8 o’clock.
Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Saturday, February 16 at 10 o’clock.
Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Woodbridge.

We will all miss Zio. I have so many great memories from early childhood and all the day trips we had fishing and mostly skiing in the blistering cold while Zio and my father were comfy inside the chalet playing cards. Zio’s strength was admirable and I was able to learn from his example along the way. The memories you will never lose. May he rest in eternal peace.
