Suddenly at the Davis Centre, Bolton, on Sunday, December 14, 2014, Maria Salome Florio, at the age of 80 years, beloved wife of Agostino Florio. Loving mother of Mario and his wife Lisa Moretto. Dear step-mother of Sam and his wife Anna-Maria Florio, Cathy and her husband Aldo Machese, Gloria and her husband Nick DeFrancesco. Cherished Nonna of Alexander and Natasha Moretto, Stephanie and Alexander Florio, Matthew and Vanessa Machese, Brianna and Christian DeFrancesco.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday evening 7 – 9, Tuesday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Wednesday morning, December 17 at 10 o’clock (leaving funeral home at 9:45 a.m.).

Condolences to all of our family. Maria was the most incredible mother, grandmother, stepmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend. She was a wonderful mother as you can see by how amazing her son is. She was so beautiful inside and out. Her warmth and kindness radiated and touched so many. She loved everyone and always put their needs ahead of her own. I could not have wished for a better mother in law. She welcomed my in the family from the moment we met. Of course we wish she had stayed with us longer but now her suffering has ended.
