Peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, Maria Do Rosario Valente Cardoso (nee Figueiredo), Caledon, in her 83rd year, beloved wife of the late Jose Cardoso. Loving mother of Jose Carlos and Lucy Cardoso, Fernando and Mary Cardoso, Ana Paula Cardoso, and Nuno Cardoso. Cherished grandmother of Malisa, Gizela, Candice, Colin and Jasmine. Adored great-grandmother of Maya, Gabriel and Emma. Dear sister of Laurinda, Emilia and Fernando Figueiredo. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held in St. John’s Albion Roman Catholic Church, 16066 The Gore Road, Caledon on Friday morning, January 24 at 10 o’clock.
