Passed away quietly after a lengthy, hard fought battle with cancer at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga on New Year’s Eve, Monday, December 31, 2012, surrounded by her loving family and friends, Laurie Elaine Morton, loving wife and best friend of Hugh Metcalfe, Caledon. Devoted mother of Robyn. Beloved sister of Paul and his wife Madeline Morton, Harlene and her husband Ernie Buske. Dear daughter-in-law of Marianne Metcalfe. Dear sister-in-law of Seward and his wife Dianne Metcalfe, Joseph and his wife Elizabeth Metcalfe, and Laurie K. Metcalfe. Will be sadly missed by her beloved pets.
Memorial visitation will be held at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Saturday, January 5 from 1:30 until time of memorial service in the chapel at 2:30 o’clock.
Reception to follow at the Brampton Fair Grounds, 12942 Heart Lake Road, Caledon.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
