Peacefully at her home, Owen Sound on Thursday, November 20, 2014, June Pooley, formerly of Caledon East, in her 89th year, beloved wife of the late Percy Pooley. Loving mother of Pat and Ren Denneny, Caledon East; Karen and the late John Bot, Caledon East; Linda and Keith Barr, Owen Sound; Gail and Neil Thornton, Guelph. Cherished grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Joy Clark.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Tuesday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday morning, November 26 at 11 o’clock.
Interment Caledon East Public Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, 16586 Woodbine Avenue, R. R. #3, Newmarket L3Y 4W1 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
