Peacefully at the Davis Centre, Bolton on Friday, October 13, 2017, Jean Allan, in her 99th year. Loving daughter of the late Hannah and Alfred Allan. Dear sister of the late Doris Robson, Les Allan, Marion Thomson and Mary Allan. Fondly remembered by her niece Ruth Gray and nephews Glen Allan and Bill Robson.

Please accept my condolence on the death of Jean at such a remarkable age. I will always remember our former farm neighbour for her sense of humour, and watching her play her guitar and harmonica at the same time. I won’t be able to attend the funeral as I have a family funeral on the same day
