Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family and friends, on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, Jan Brtka, Bolton, age 79 years. Loving father of John and his wife Sandra Brtka, Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Joel and David. Remembered by Anna Brtka and his step-daughter Rosanna.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday afternoon, November 2 from 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in Faith Sanctuary Church, 1901 Jane Street, Toronto on Saturday morning, November 3 at 11 o’clock. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens, (Albion Road and Hwy. 27) Etobicoke.

My sincere sympathy to all of Jan’s family. I met him at the Seniors Centre bowling which he enjoyed very much. He always spoke and was so friendly to everyone. I realized he wasn`t well even though he never complained. May he rest in peace.

I never got to know Jan but he has been blessed with an amazing and wonderful family whom love the Lord dearly. My sincere condolences to his family and hearing the testimony in church this past Sunday certainly made the tears of happiness and joy flow for Jon Brtka whom the Lord has welcomed home.
