Peacefully at the Vera M. Davis Centre, Bolton, on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, Hildegard Dornhoff, in her 87th year, beloved wife of the late Heinz Dornhoff. Loving mother of Rudy and Vera Dornhoff, Susan and David Elliott, Peter and Denise Dornhoff. Cherished Oma of Christina, Katherine, Iain, Lukas, Erik and Kaitlyn. Dear sister of Erika and Alfred Hoff, Lotti and Peter Wolf. Fondly remembered by her dear friend Inge Pirat. The family wishes to thank the wonderful and caring staff at the Davis Centre.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in Augsburg Lutheran Church, 224 Mill Street S., Brampton on Thursday, July 4 at one o’clock. Interment Meadowvale Cemetery, Brampton.

Deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your mom. We know our father Don was a good friend of your mom,. until his passing 7 years ago. We lost our mom last year. Susan, the other day we were passing your parents old house on Kimbark and thinking of your mom at that time. I remember when we were younger and going to your house and seeing your mom and what a gracious lady she was. I remember going with you downtown Brampton to visit her while she worked at the butcher shop. I also remember when you got your first paying job and bought your mom a dozen roses every week. She was a very special lady.

Hallo Rüdiger ! Viele Jahre sind vergangen das ich euch im Internet gefunden habe. Leider hatte ich nicht die cance meinen Bruder und meine Schwägerin jemals wieder zu sehen. Ich war sehr traurig das eure lieben Eltern verstorben sind .mein lebenlang habe ich die zwei und euch vermisst . Wir waren Kinder als ihr ausgewandert seid. Peter haben wir leider nicht kennengelernt da er in Kanada geboren ist. Kannst du dich an Oma Lüne erinnern ? Ich war die jüngste und noch zu Hause ursula genannt Ursel . Einmal bist du mit deiner mom nach Deutschland gekommen und ihr habt uns kurz besucht . Ich habe dich gefragt wie Blumen auf englisch heissen . Flowers” ich habe es nie vergessen . Lotti habe ich nur einmal gesehen , da war ich noch sehr jung . Ich habe 3wunderbare Töchter und einen wunderbaren Sohn und sieben Enkelkinder. Jetzt bin ich auch schon 71jahre alt und bin fast 52 Jahre verheiratet . Wir erfreuen uns guter Gesundheit was ich auch von Euch hoffe . Wir wohnen seid 45jahre in Schleswig-Holstein zwischen Nordsee und Ostsee . Ach, ich hätte noch sovielzu erzählen . In Lüneburg ist leider nur noch meine Schwester die auch hildegard heisst . Sie hatte mehr Kontakt zu Lotti aber nun auch schon lange nicht mehr . Ich hoffe das du noch deutsch kannst und meine Mail lesen kannst . Es grüsst dich und die ganze Familie Ursel die kleine Halbschwester von eurem Daddy Heinz . Über ein Feedback würde ich mich sehr freuen
