Giovanna peacefully passed away with her loving family by her side at Matthew’s Hospice in Alliston, on Sunday, October 21, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Ermenegildo Marchesan for 57 years and a loving and proud mother of her children Sergio (Marina), Rick (Mary), John (Rita), Steve (Tracy), Joanne (Geoff). Cherished Nonna of Daniel, Michael, Linda, David, Steven, Matthew, Stefania, Jessica, John Jr., Emily, Sienna, Jack and Eleonora.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Tuesday evening 7 – 9 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, 8500 Islington Avenue, Woodbridge on Thursday morning, October 25 at 10:30 a.m. (leaving funeral home at 9:45 a.m.).
Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 7300 Hwy. 27, Woodbridge.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
