Suddenly at his daughter’s home, on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, George Currie, in his 96th year, beloved husband of the late Grace Farrant. Loving father of Ron and Shirley Currie, Beverly and Joe Kennedy. Cherished grandfather of Stuart and Bridget Currie, Richard Currie, Heather Kennedy, Denise and Corey Cabot. Dear great-grandfather of Owen, Nora and Annie Currie; Thomas, Kathryn, Michael and Rebecca Cabot. Dear brother of Seaton (deceased) and his wife Doris Currie. Dear brother-in-law of Margaret and her husband Gus Martin, Alice MacCrae, James Farrant and partner Tony . Fondly remembered by his niece Mary and her husband Gary Haslett.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Saturday, August 16 from one o’clock until time of funeral service at 2 o’clock.
Followed by cremation.
