Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Thursday, November 14, 2013, Erna Strazdins, Bolton, in her 93rd year, beloved wife of the late Janis (John) Strazdins. Dear mother of Peter and Mara. Loving grandmother of Teika. Dear cousin of Aldonis Kalnins and family, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Fondly remembered by family in Latvia.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in St. John’s Latvian Lutheran Church, 200 Balmoral Avenue, Toronto on Tuesday, November 19 at 2 o’clock.
Interment York Cemetery, 101 Senlac Road, Toronto.

To Peter and Mara, my very deepest condolences. on the passing of your Mother and to Teika, the lose of your Grandmother. I did not know your Mother/Grandmother, but my Mother, Grizelda Kristins, always spoke very highly of her and had fond memories of their past meetings at Saulaine.
