It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Erminia D’Uva at the age of 68 years, with her loving family by her side, God called her home on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Etobicoke General Hospital. Devoted wife to Angelo D’Uva. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Annamaria (Marco) Romano and Patrizia (Robert) Polsinelli. Cherished Nonna of Ava Polsinelli, Erica Romano, Michael Polsinelli, and Sebastian Romano. Predeceased by her beloved parents Eugenio and Rosa D’Uva. Loving sister to Michael (Gilda) D’Uva, Carmelina (Giuseppe) Remigio, and Achille (Antonietta) D’Uva. Held dearly in the hearts of her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the Palliative Care team at Etobicoke General Hospital, especially Dr. V. Maida and nursing staff, for their dedication and compassionate care.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50) Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 6 – 8 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton, on Friday morning, August 16 at 10 o’clock (leaving funeral home at 9:45 a.m.). Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, (Hwy. 27) Woodbridge.
