Peacefully at home on Sunday, November 13, 2016, Betty Murray, Bolton, in her 92nd year, beloved wife of the late Edward Murray. Loving mother of Nanci, John (deceased), Joanne, Casey, Bob and Tracey. Cherished grandmother of Melinda and Mike, Amanda and Mark, Christin and Daniel, James and Samantha, Matthew and Yasmina, Jessica and Joell, Ashley, and Brenden. Adored great-grandmother of Hollis, Murray, Ansel, Briar, Alexandria, Sebastian, Eleanora, Ian, Amabel and Ma to Abby.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning, November 17 at 11 o’clock. Sorry to hear about Mrs. Murray’s passing who was my neighbour and loved that she took my sister Starr and I to learn how to roller skate and that she was adamant that her children roller skate in competitions. Also, being able to have some family reunions at the park opening her trailer up to stay and to also take my brother Jimmy to the park. Great lady and my heart goes out to the family.
