    Eileen, Barbara and I were the 3 musketeers. We were dressed alike, shared the same bed, and often got spanked at the same time for fooling around! Often just the 3 of us, we did so much together. We were into mischief together, spending our pocket money at Laura Secord candy shop together, late coming home from choir because we stopped to make angels in the snow together or count cars by color on the side of the road together. We loved each other completely, argued and sometime fought fiercely, but were forever sisters.
    We are with you all in spirit during this sad time. I believe Eileen is resting in peace with all her great memories intact. Bless you, From your Aunt Amy

    When I think of Aunt Eileen, the memories will forever be linked to my childhood summers around the Georgian Bay in Ontario;
    Cottages and campfires, Tents and kayaks, Sleeping bags and cots, Itchy wool blankets,
    Cool mornings braced by hot cups of tea, Evenings and mosquitoes coming on too soon.
    We cousins swimming, playing, exploring, while the laughter of the sisters sharing some tidbit we little ones weren’t to hear, flowed through the air.
    Although many years have passed since those lovely, simpler times,
    I can still remember Aunt Eileen at a shoreline, coming back from a long swim. She’d be chatting with her sisters, laughing and smiling. I am sure she is remembering these events now as she smiles down on you from heaven.
    With love and sincere sympathy, from your cousin Barbie

    Just like my cousin Barbara, I too remember all the Parry Sound holidays at cottages with my mother Barbara and her sister Aunt Eileen and all the other aunts and cousins. Aunt Eileen was always so calm which amazed me with all the children around. She always made you welcome whether at the cottage or her home and you
    truley felt she was genuinally happy that you were there. Aunt Eileen always made sure we all got a turn, along with Uncle Ron, on the kayaks, at the cottage , which was no mean feat given the number of all the cousins.
    In later years Aunt Eileen and Uncle Ron continued to be such good friends to my Mom and Dad when they had a home in Nobel. Aunt Eileen would regularly stop for tea on their way into town ( Parry Sound).

    I will miss you Aunt Eileen. Thank you for the sweet memories of my childhood.
