Suddenly at her home in Toronto on Thursday, July 31, 2014, Edna Doherty, in her 86th year, beloved wife of the late Norman Horan. Dear daughter of the late Richard and Edna Doherty, Albion Township. Dear sister of Norman Doherty, Caledon East; Geraldine and her husband Paul McGuire, Schomberg and predeceased by Norrine and Lawrence Dinan, Elwyn Doherty, Gerald Doherty and Leona Doherty. Dear sister-in-law of Clare Horan, Leo Horan and predeceased by Linus, Bob, Gordon, Tom, Mike and Irene. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Tuesday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Albion, 16066 The Gore Road, Caledon East on Wednesday morning, August 6 at 10 o’clock (leaving funeral home at 9:30 a.m.).
