Suddenly at his home, on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, Earl Hacker in his 88th year, beloved husband of Helen. Loving father of Vera Hacker and Denis Regimbal, Tottenham; James Hacker, Bolton; Darlene and Mike Treadaway, Tottenham; Dave and Barb Hacker, Dundalk; Edmund and Shirley Hacker, Loretto. Adored Papa of David and his wife Mandy Hacker, Matthew Treadaway, Caitlyn Hacker, Mark Hacker, Kristina Hacker, Mitchell Hacker, and Nichole Hacker-Regimbal. Dear brother of Maurice, Faye, Marie, Doris, Lilly and predeceased by Bertie, Ernest, Lyod, Paul, Frankie, Phylis, Nell, Edna and Pearly. Loving father-in-law to Mike, Shirley, Barb, Denis and Anthony. Earl came to Canada from Jamaica in 1952, loved farming, and then became a dedicated Ontario Hydro Equipment employee. Earl had a passion for fishing and caught his last big one last summer at the Owen Sound fishing derby. He was well loved and will be sorely missed. Into the arms of Jesus we commit his soul.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South, Bolton, on Friday, April 5 from 12:30 until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:30 o’clock. Followed by cremation.
