Lovingly in the arms of his wife Valerie Doyle, Douglas passed away in his home on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the age of 91 years. Proud father of Karen (Wayne), Michael (Kathy), Peter (Patsy), Andrew (Sandy), Donna (Scott) and Stephen (Amy). Cherished grandfather of Brittney (Campbell), Adam, Emily, Jessica, Alyssa, Mason, Dannica, Sasha, Isabella, Marlowe. Special Great-Grandfather to Noah , Ava, Maya, Cooper, Hazel, and Eleanor . Dear brother of Audrey and predeceased by Ronald and Kenneth.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday, April 11 from one o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 o’clock.

Followed by cremation.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.

    Since meeting Doug here at Legacy Pines 11 years ago, we always admired how he just kept going and going.
    We will miss him driving his golf cart by our house after a round of golf, sometimes stopping in for a drink or two.
