After 91 amazing years, Doris Marion McLeod (nee Judge), Caledon East, completed her life’s journey on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in Orangeville, Ontario, beloved wife of the late John J. G. McLeod. Much loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Randall and Wendy McLeod, Laurie and Austin Walker. Proud Grandmother of Jordan, Ryan, Dana, Robin and Erin.
Dear Mother, rest, your work is o’er
Your loving hands shall toil no more,
No more your gentle eyes shall weep,
Rest, dear Mother, gently sleep.
Dear sister of Lillian (deceased) and Gordon (deceased) Neelands, Kenneth (deceased) Judge, George and Betty Judge, Norman (deceased) and Dorothy Judge, Harry and Irene Judge.
When recounted, her stories, her wisdom, her contagious laugh, and her jokes will pull us back from our grief.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Tuesday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in St. James Anglican Church, Old Church Road, Caledon East on Wednesday, October 24 at 2 o’clock. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.
