Peacefully at his home on Friday, January 22, 2016, David Holder, Malton, at the age of 77 years, beloved husband of the late Phyllis Elaine Holder. Loving father of Karen and Blair. Cherished grandfather of Lindsay, Teryl, Nicholas, and Jenna. Beloved friend to many.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Tuesday morning, January 26 from 10 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o’clock.
Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.
In lieu of flowers, and in honour of who David was, the family would request a donation or act of kindness towards someone less fortunate.

I am so sorry that your family has lost Dave. We were quite good friends when we worked together at the Jerral Group in the early 1960’s and often spent after hours together over a cold beer. Karen and Blair were only small children then and I was lucky enough to meet them several times.
I am an Emergency Department volunteer at the hospital in Barrie and will devote my shift this Tuesday in memory of Dave.
