After a long battle with cancer, died at home surrounded by his family on Friday, June 19, 2015, Claudio Barbazza, loving husband of Carol. Proud father and father-in-law of Justin and Shannon, Khris and Joanne. Devoted Pappa of Morgan, Allie, and Kyuss. Cherished son of Udino and Ester Barbazza. Dear brother of Roland and his wife Kathleen. Fondly remembered by his nieces Jennifer and her husband Shaun, Nicole and her husband Jamie.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday, June 25 from one o’clock until time of memorial service at 2 o’clock.

I still remember him coming to the hospital when Joanne and Khris had Morgan (2005) in his baseball uniform. He had to finish his game before he arrived in time for the arrival of his first granddaughter.

Will miss Claudio’s jovial spirit which continued despite his long term illness…he was always there for Aunt Vera and Uncle Norm and was such a great son himself.
My memories are good ones. His generosity of self with children and animals and stray relatives…Claudio and Carol gave us wonderful family reunion parties and they were the only ones brave enough to take the whole group on!
Life and connections get lost alone the way and we tend to stray off in other directions as we get older, dealing with family illnesses and the joys of grandchildren. My regret is that I lost touch with relatives when Vince died and lost a big part of my life.
