It is with great sadness that we learn of your mom’s passing. We have such fond memories of spending time with your Mom (& Dad) during those fun soccer games, brownie & guide functions and school plays & other activities. We had many laughs together as we discussed our little angels. Your Mom was so very kind and led the top of the list as our mother’s helper ( and baker) at our brownie & guide functions. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Sorry we are unable to attend the funeral, as we are presently out of the country. Our thoughts and prayers are with you both. It has taken me a day to digest the sad, sad news and write this message as I was so shattered and torn apart to hear of your mom’s passing. I am sending a huge hug at this extremely difficult time and please know that we would be there with you if we could, to celebrate her life that touched so many of us with kindness, her huge heart, her complete love and regard for others before herself and of course her “butter tarts” and “Hello dollies” and tons of other yummies!! Hahaha 🙂 We love Bunty very, very much and she holds a very special place in my heart and always will. She was a special person and will be missed by all of us. To my dear sweet family,
I was so sad to hear of Bunty passing away. I have many great memories of Bunty; doing the polka with my Dad at Tracy and Rob’s wedding is a favourite, and many nine-mile memories.
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you guys but my thoughts are with you frequently and especially over the past few weeks. I can only imagine how difficult they have been.
Sending all my love and deepest condolences.
Love you guys,
Meg

We are sending so much sympathy to you on the loss of your beloved Mom. I remember Mom from Mayfield High School where Andrew, Adam and Paul would go and see their Auntie “Bunty” as she would serve them the biggest batch of french fries. Mom’s are not supposed to go so soon.

Joanne and Glenn,
Sorry I couldn’t make it to the funeral due to the bad weather. I just wanted to say what a wonderful person Bunty was! I’ll always remember her as the “cool” mom with all her funky hair colours!
I probably spent as much time at your house growing up as my own place and your mom always made me feel right at home. And her baking was amazing!
I know her and Jack are in heaven, watching over the two of you.
My deepest condolences to you both!
Big Hugs

Pam and Jim McGugan
Dear Joanne and Glenn,
We were so sorry to learn of your mother’s passing. We were away at the time. I enjoyed many years of Bunty’s enthusiasm and good nature as she volunteered at the school always making it a better place for all with her treats and energy. I well remember all the help she provided for a special Japanese meal we held for the class while studying Japan and her work during the musicals. We enjoyed both your dad and mom as our girls played soccer and our paths crossed again. Her laugh was legandary. Later, we reconnected when I’d visit Mayfield………always a treat to visit with her. Jim got to know Bunty at Mayfield when he filled in at the office……she was a genuine, loving and caring person devoted to her children. You both must be missing her terribly.
All my love,
Pam
