Peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, on Friday, December 30, 2016, Bryan ‘Sky’ King of Palgrave, in his 64th year, beloved husband of Grace Truchanowicz. Loving father of Stuart King, Adam Earle (Natalie), Roy Wismayer (Vanessa), Mark Truchanowicz (Aline), Elizabeth Truchanowicz (Matthew), Courteney Earle, and Sarah King. Cherished grandfather of four grandchildren. Dear son of Margaret and David King. Survived by his two brothers.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Tuesday, January 10 at one o’clock. I met Bryan over 30 years ago at Irene and Guy’s cottage on Christian Island. He and Richard immediately bonded…lol. They both liked herbals. Over the years we saw him either at the cottage or at parties. However what most touched me was the last time I brought Richard to Irene and Guy for Christmas Eve. Bryan was so gentle with Richard ,who has dementia, and spent so much time with him. I will be forever grateful for that kindness. He will be missed and condolences to his family.

I left before you did and when I came back as a spectator I still could see the excitement in your eyes still enjoying the game. The reunion we had last summer was not complete until you showed up. Brian worked hard and played hard. He was always full of fun and while not an instigator was willing to back up his friends especially when we all played on the Emery hockey team. He always had a car project on the go or a hockey game to go to. That’s how I will remember Brain, fun to be around , a good friend and always on the go.
