At Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Friday, November 2, 2018, Art Wood, at the age of 88 years, Markdale, formerly of Caledon. Predeceased by his first love, Doreen (nee Hazell) Wood and son Roy. He is survived by his children George and Lynn, Marilyn and Steve Terry, Brian and Cindy, Barry and Ana, Glenn and Faith, eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Art is survived by his wife Nina (Wilson) Wood, her children Betty and Ron (deceased) Singer, Bob and Colleen Wilson, Murray Wilson (deceased), three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday morning, November 8 from 10 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o’clock.
Following a reception at the funeral home interment will take place in Caledon East Public Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario (www.heartandstroke.ca).

Nina and family….I was so fortunate to of visited with Art in August. Although we live in the same area i didnot get to see Art and Nina as much as I would like. To see them out having breakfast together warmed my heart. Together hand in hand walking to and from the van.
