Suddenly at his home, on Sunday, March 6, 2016, Adone Gubert, Caledon, at the age of 65 years, beloved husband of Linda. Loving father of Christopher and his wife Paula, Lawrence, Stephanie and her husband Kevin Laderoute, Tania and her husband Brandon Strain, and Alex. Fondly remembered by nine grandchildren. Dear son of Angelo and the late Olga Gubert. Dear brother of Mike and Mary Gubert, Luciano and Dianne Gubert, Diego and Felicia Gubert, Mary and Ross Fasullo, Steve and Liliana Gubert. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 6 – 9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, 11873 The Gore Road, Brampton (Wildfield) on Saturday morning, March 12 at 10 o’clock. Entombment Assumption Cemetery, Mississauga. My most heartfelt and deepest condolences in the loss of Adone. My late husband, Carlo Galli, worked with Adone at Mattamy for many years and not only looked up to but also deeply respected and cherished their friendship. Last year while Carlo was battling cancer Adone would come visit Carlo and I on many occasions at our new house wanting to check up on his friend. Adone always brought a smile to my late husband’s face and I know how much it meant to Carlo how concerned his dear friend was for him. Adone being so kind and generous even insisted on building a small tool bench in our garage for Carlo as he noticed my husbands tools were laying on the floor as we had yet to install any shelving in the garage. Looking at the tool bench now, I will fondly remember Adone and Carlo’s special friendship.
I am so deeply sorry for the sudden passing of Adone and please know that my though’s are with you and the family during this difficult time.
