Peacefully, at Dufferin Oaks Home for Senior Citizens, Shelburne, on Thursday, December 5, 2013, Isabel Nodwell, in her 93rd year, beloved wife of the late Grant Jeffers (2003). Loving mother of Mary and her husband Stephen White, Barbara and her husband Dalen Fairbairn. Cherished grandmother of Meg and Adam Tunis, Patrick and Jeanne-Marie White, Clare White, Caiden Fairbairn, and Meredith Fairbairn. Dear great-grandmother of Clark, Declan, and Adelaide Tunis. Predeceased by brothers Clark and James Nodwell, sisters Mary Simpson and Jean Nodwell.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Monday, December 9 from 12 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at one o’clock. Peter and I were saddened to read of your Mom’s passing. We remember her as a beautiful, gentle gracious lady.
She and your Dad used to spend much time next door with the Stonehouses, playing cards at the dining room table, and laughing and enjoying good times at Caledon Lake.
We are unable to be in Orangeville for the service, but our thoughts will be with you a all.
