Passed peacefully, at Brampton Civic Hospital on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Jorge at the age of 95 years, beloved husband to Cecilia for 70 years. Loving father of Paula (Mark) Turner, Betty (Lino) Milano, George (Estrela) Tranquada. Cherished grandfather of Michele (Amanda), Cristina, Raquel (Paul), Chloe (Christian), Christopher (Raquel), and Jordan. Proud great-grandfather of Gabriella, Michele, Adriano, Bella, Sofia, Anthony, Adam, Emma, Callie, Brooklyn, Aria and Serena. Jorge was a creative man with a love for photography, cooking & baking for his family and friends, famous in the family for his blueberry muffins, lasagna and cheese pie. His garden was also his pride and joy, and he would often be seen puttering around it all day. Jorge was also a lifelong soccer fan and followed his favourite team Benfica faithfully through the years.
Jorge was a kind generous man who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. The memories he created and the kindness he showed will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. We take comfort in knowing he is now at rest, free from pain and that his spirit remains with us. Jorge will be sorely missed, may he rest in peace.
Memorial Mass with cremated remains will be held in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 16066 The Gore Road, Caledon on Monday morning, November 2 at 10:30am.

Dearest Senhor Jorge,
As you look down on us, as you rest in peace, I want you to thank you.
Not only were you a kind, tender, loving Father to Paula, Betty and George, you also welcome and embrace us, their spouses.
Family was everything to you.
Love and respect was returned with each visit we had.
Right to the very end, when each of your children and grandchildren came to say goodbye, you can see and feel the respect they had for you.
You were a gentle soul and loved by all.
I miss you already
