Peacefully at Chartwell Aurora Long Term Care Residence, Sunday, January 29, 2017, Edith Storey. Loving mother of Bradley Storey (deceased) and Blake Storey. Cherished grandmother of Dion and Jody Storey. Predeceased by her parents Hazel and Herman Cairns. Dear sister of Glenna and Fred Taylor, Linda Pelkey, Roger Cairns, Richard Cairns. Fondly remembered by Cheryl, Russell, Ronald Matson and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in the spring.

My deepest sympathy to all the Family. I met Edith over 42 years ago and we had a great friendship, she was a real lady, always helpful and ready to give a hand where needed. She gave so much without expecting anything in return.
She helped me out a lot and I will never forget how kind she was to my Mum. Plum cake will have a different meaning from now on, as it was her favorite cake and she loved it. I was sorry to hear of the passing of my niece, Edith. I remember one weekend when Edith and her two sisters came to visit me in Bracebridge, after I moved back home to this area. We had such fun those two days. The girls were so close to each other , and the same with their brothers, that they will be finding a missing link with Edith gone.
