Condolence from Beatriz Baumfeld on January 31st, 2017 3:13 pm

Dear Blake and Family:
My deepest sympathy to all the Family. I met Edith over 42 years ago and we had a great friendship, she was a real lady, always helpful and ready to give a hand where needed. She gave so much without expecting anything in return.
She helped me out a lot and I will never forget how kind she was to my Mum. Plum cake will have a different meaning from now on, as it was her favorite cake and she loved it. Rest in peace Edith, you are gone in body but never from our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Family, in loving friendship
Beatriz and Family

I send my condolences to the family. I haven’t seen a lot of my cousins in years, but you never forget them.
Maybe some day there will be a reunion to enjoy the relatives that are still here. Take care of your family
every day. Sincerely Norma Wallbank, (nee Breedon)

Condolence from Muriel Cairns on February 2nd, 2017 12:57 pm

I was sorry to hear of the passing of my niece, Edith. I remember one weekend when Edith and her two sisters came to visit me in Bracebridge, after I moved back home to this area. We had such fun those two days. The girls were so close to each other , and the same with their brothers, that they will be finding a missing link with Edith gone. However, keep your memories of how wonderful Edith was , and know that we are all thinking of you . Love and hugs to all from Aunt Muriel

Condolence from Ted Westbrook on February 4th, 2017 12:33 pm

To our cousins we send our thoughts and memories or Edith, the farm, and the horses. You girls where the funest, helping us up on the horses only to fall off. We have a few photos of those days. When visiting our parents grave, we always take time to read our Cairns grandparents tombstone and also read your parents, remembering you dad’s early passing.
From your cousins, Phillip, Ted, and Richard Westbrook and Olav Andersen

Blake & family-
Edith has been apart of my life since she was 18 yrs. old a lot of years laughter & tears. Family was the most important
thing to her and she worked to keep it together. A very unselfish, caring person she put everyone before herself.
She was very proud of you Blake, you are one in a million of son’s, you have a lot of your mother’s quality’s, and I am
happy to call you my nephew.
I hope Edith is finally at peace.
