Peacefully, in her sleep at home, on Monday, February 20, 2012, Susan Macdonald, Caledon East, in her 50thyear, beloved wife of Ben Steffen. Loving mother of Mark Patrick Macdonald and Brieanne Steffen. Dear daughter of Patrick and Janet Macdonald. Dear sister of Michele Guthrie, Scott and Karen Macdonald, Sandra and Michael Lamb, Ian and Shelley Macdonald and predeceased by Ed Macdonald. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Friday, February 24 from one o’clock until time of memorial service in the chapel at 2 o’clock.

So very sad and sorry to hear of Susan’s passing. I too have very happy memories of time spent at the farm in my childhood, and well remember Susan’s laughter, smile and kindness – especially to her younger cousins and sibling. Deepest condolences to her family and friends from her loving cousin Alice, Uncle Arthur and Aunt Mary Ann.
Your smile lite up the room when you came in, your ever lasting happiness was contagious to everyone’s life you touched. Your heart will never leave us and your soft touch on life will be carried for decades to come.
