Passed away peacefully at York Central Hospital, Richmond Hill on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late William Francis Magee, Nobleton, loving mother of Joyce Magee, Kitchener; Basil and Cheryl Magee, Caledon; Joanne and Paul Myers, Newmarket. Cherished grandmother of Shannaghn and her husband Kyle McMahon, Tyler Magee, Haley Magee, Abagail and Mallory Myers. May emigrated with Frank, Joyce, and Basil from Enniskillen, Northern Ireland to Canada in 1956. May and Frank were married for 58 years. They were longtime and proud members of the Nobleton community. May enjoyed her involvement with the Nobleton Women’s Institute, the Nobleton United Church and her job at the Nobleton IGA. It was an honour to know and love May. We know Dad was waiting with a cup of tea in hand. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday morning, October 2 at 11 o’clock. Interment Nobleton Community Cemetery. Heartfelt thanks to the volunteer drivers from Nobleton who transported our Mom home from dialysis for years and special thanks to the Oak Ridges Dialysis Nephrology Team who took exemplary care of our Mom.
