My thoughts and prayers are with Trudy’s family and friends at this time. I have felt privileged to be able to keep in touch with her since she was a student of mine at Humberview. This shocking news reaches me while I am away on holiday with family. At times like this all we can do is hold our loved ones close and cherish the memories we have been fortunate to create.

    Glenn, Tessa & Family,
Please accept our most heartfelt condolences on your loss of Trudy.
We hope these words will bring you some comfort.

You can shed tears that she is gone,
Or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all she’s left.

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her,
Or you can be full of the love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she’s gone,
Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back,
Or you can do what she’d want; smile, open your eyes,
    Live and go on.

Trudy, you were so full of light and laughter. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you but I heard about your growing family and beautiful life through the Bolton grapevine. I wish we could turn back the clocks and I could get to know you better more recently….by your facebook page you appear to have touched and impacted a great many lives. I know that in school, you were always so outgoing, so vibrant and the first one to give someone a hug when they needed it. I imagine that will pass on with your beautiful children. With my most sincerely deep sympathy to your family, Sophie, iyla (my 5 year old daughter) and (Ethan my 4 year old son).

Glen & Tessa and Family, I am sooo sorry to hear about the loss of Trudy. Time flies so much and life goes on but
hearing that she is no longer with us is truly sorrowful. Her spirit will live on in the lives she has touched, the people that new her, but especially in her children. It has been some time since seeing her, but I will always remember her energy, her spirited conversation and the “Take the world by storm” attitude. She was strong willed and lived life to its
fullest. She may have been here a short time according to our living time, but in Gods world she did so much.
I will remember her and all of you in my prayers, hoping for an ease of heart.

It will be hard to forget Trudy’s abundant exuberance and “Awesome” attitude to her work here. Our entire dental family cannot express how much we will miss her. She was a “different ” kind of dental assistant with so much to give to the profession, offering practical advice, personal comfort to the patients and loved by the entire staff.
Trudy rest in peace and be assured that you left “a good impression” with everyone that crossed your path.

    Hey Trud,
I am going to miss you more than any words can express!
We always had a special bond, we never fought, always got along. When we were little it never bothered you that I wanted to do everything with you and tag along, thank you Trudy for always loving me unconditionally. I will never forget that you were the only one to come and see us after we lost Jessa, Trud that meant the world to me! I love you so very much. Although I am sad that we will be a part for now, I am also over joyed at the happiness you must be experiencing as you finally get to hold Edward in your arms, that thought alone makes me know you are ok! Please hold our angel close and tight until we can all be together again. I know your kids will miss you and Trudy I would do anything for your kids, anytime, anyday! So many memories and jokes that only you would understand….. I’ll leave it at one of our favorites, how about the “bubble lady” lol!!
I will see you again, and I will visit you in my dreams.
Honestly the world will be a little darker without you, but boy will those stars shine a lot brighter!
Love is stronger than sorrow ox

It is with great sadness that we have learned of this untimely tragedy. We knew Trudy as a young teenager who dated our son Daniel. She was a pretty girl, very bright and full of spirit. For Daniel she was the love of his life, as he once told us she was his soul mate. Which he made abundantly clear in his own sudden death. For us her tragic death is a double loss. Our prayers are with Trudy’s family. Her beauty lives on in her children, she can never be far away as she is a part of them. The beauty of the flower may last only in the moment but the essence of that flower can last a lifetime.
    God Bless you all,
From The Family of Daniel Edward John Bellefontaine.

Her name just popped into my head. Went to school with Trudy in Grade 6 at Macville PS. She was a pretty nice girl. Looks like she managed to keep in touch with the gang and despite her short life made a lot of people happy. Good on her.
