Passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord, on Monday, November 11, 2013 at the King Nursing Home, Bolton. Irene was born March 27, 1924 in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, the eldest daughter of the late Lorne and Gertrude McCool. Beloved wife of the late Frank McCarron (1984) of Wildfield. Cherished Mom of Karen Kenney, Orangeville; Dorell and Gerry Carlson, West Vancouver; Linda and Adrian Bulfon, Toronto; Tim and Rose Marie McCarron, Hamilton; Joe and Sharon McCarron, Barrie. Treasured Gramma of Bill and Melissa Kenney, Heather Kenney, Kathleen and George Zervas, Grant Carlson, Emily Carlson, Dylan McCarron-Bulfon, Clark McCarron, Sarah McCarron, Jessica McCarron, Ashley McCarron, Delainey McCarron and Graydon McCarron. Great Gramma of Liam Kenney. Survived by brothers Pat McCool, Bobcaygeon; Charles and Audrey Ludlow, Aurora and sister-in-law Genevieve Ryan, Joyland Beach, Orillia. Predeceased by brother Myles (1929), sister Lorna (1929), brother Sergeant Blake (W.W. II Netherlands 1945), brother Douglas McNaney (2004) and her much beloved son-in-law Bill Kenney (2011). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the King Nursing Home and Dr. J. Niedoba for their diligent care and compassion over the past 7 years. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 11873 The Gore Road, Brampton (Wildfield) on Friday morning, November 15 at 10 o’clock. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
