Peacefully at the Davis Centre, Bolton, on Thursday, July 27, 2017, Edwin C. Burton, in his 88th year, beloved husband of the late Marion Burton. Loving father of Jack and Diane Burton, Pat Burton, Debbie and Gary Mountain. Cherished grandfather of Lindsay and Tim Alguire, Ashley and Matthew Van Gerven, Laura and Eric McGurrin, Cheryl Mountain, Darren and Elyssa Mountain, Corynn Mountain. Proud great-grandfather of Madeleine and Amelia Alguire, Kinley and Isla Van Gerven.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Sunday afternoon 2 – 4 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, July 31 at 2 o’clock. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael’s Hospital, 30 Bond Street, Toronto M5B 1W8; Davis Centre, 80 Allan Drive, Bolton L7E 1P7 or a charity of your choice.
