Passed away peacefully, at Brampton Civic Hospital, on Sunday, July 2, 2017, Gerry, in his 90th year, beloved husband of Betty. Loving father of Brenda, Joyce and her husband Kirk Brannon. Adored Opa of Rachelle Brannon, Carly, Katrina, and Julia Beamish. The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to the Davis Center for all of their support and kindness.
A celebration of Gerry’s life open house memorial reception will take place on Sunday, August 13 from 12 o’clock until 4 o’clock at Rivers Edge, 60 Ann Street, Bolton. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Adult Day Program at the Vera Davis Centre, 80 Allan Drive, Bolton L7E 1P7. Arrangements by Egan Funeral Home, Bolton (905-857-2213). Mom and I were saddened and heartbroken with the news of Gerry’s passing. What a lovely gentleman he was and how I enjoyed talking investments with him over the years, not that either he or I ever made any serious money. Thanks to a great friendship we were able to stay in reasonably close touch after you moved to Bolton. That move was timely as he seemed to be on a downward slope after that move. I know it has been very tough on you Betty, as the primary caregiver. Know that you did your very best and Gerry loved you very much. God Bless Gerry, may you be at peace.
