Surrounded by loved ones during the last days of his life, Sante peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Brampton Civic Hospital. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years, Rosalia (February 16, 2008). Loving father of John (Marilena), Tony (Christina), Iolanda (Ron), Rita (Dale), Elda (Aurelio), Juliana, Fred (Karen), Marilena (Larry), George (Sophia); Tato will be lovingly remembered by 30 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters: Elvira (Rocco), Concetta (Antonio), Angiolina, and his brother: Luciano (Maria). Sante lived his life on his terms and retained his independence until the end. He was known for his intelligence, wit, and strength. He instilled in his children a profound sense of family. He will be in our hearts and minds forever. We extend a warm embrace and thanks to all those who cared for Papa and shared in his extraordinary life.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday afternoon 1 – 4 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning, February 16 at 10 o’clock.
Entombment St. Anthony’s Mausoleum, Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 7300 Hwy. 27, Woodbridge.
