Dear Aunt Doris, Robert & Karen.
I was very saddened to hear of Uncle Gordon’s passing. I grew up listening to my mother tell many great stories of her early life growing up with her brother Gordon.
I could tell that there was much love and affection towards him in every tale, and there always seemed to be a large quantity of good natured mischief & humor involved in every story.
I have nothing but good memories of Uncle Gordon. I know that he will be missed, and I send sincere condolences from the Harrison family.

I am thinking of you and your family Doris at this time. I know Gordon wasn’t religious but he was such as sweet man that I know he is in a good place now. I hope God has some woodworking projects he wants to get done because Gordon would not like to sit around and do nothing.
Take care of yourself.

Dearest Doris,
Sorry that I was unable to attend Gordon’s service, but good to see and talk to you at the visitation. I am sure you had many people attending the service who love and support you and who thought the world of Gordon. I personally will always remember Gordon when I first met you both many years ago when you were a meals of wheels ‘volunteer couple’ delivering meals. I always remember Gordon wearing his ‘jaunty’ little hat – a quiet, simple, gentle man but with a twinkle in his eye and that sweet little smile. What a blessing to have had 67 years of marriage together. Prayers and blessings to you Doris and all your family. Love, Carol
