Sending lots of love & heartfelt condolences to you all. Bill (Marilyn) were very special & so dear to us & to all my family. Always a huge part of my life from my childhood on.
Our parents were inseparable on James Street, & that friendship only grew, no matter where in town you’s moved to, they always remained close.
Our dads loved their time volunteer firefighting, & all the social that went with it,. Those really were the good old days. Such great memories were made.
The last i saw Bill, was in Sammys restaurant. He was there at the usual time of the morning, with that big smile on his face, & always a nice chat we’d have, He’d always talk about the family. & was so proud of each & everyone of you.. Its now time for him to rest, & to join your mom once again. Treasure all the precious memories he left behind. He will always be with you.

To the Sharp family, Bill will be missed by all of us that knew him on Ellwood. He was kind, friendly and a God send on a snowy day, out early with his little tractor. Helping his senior neighbours with clearing the snow, he was a honest man, I know this as he told me he loved my shepherds pie but was not a fan of my chili. Bill was a treasure and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. RIP Bill

Through the 25 years of living beside Bill my life was impacted in a positive way by knowing “Sharpie”. Many evenings playing cards or darts, throwing horseshoes in the yard, sitting out having coffee or attending fire calls are some of my best memories of Bill and allowed me to feel like I was part of your family. May the many memories all of you hold dear help you through these difficult days.

Rest In Peace My Friend

Condolence from Leslie Hutcheson on July 15th, 2025 8:30 am

As a good friend of Suzanne, I watched with pride the love and care she bestowed upon her Dad. Regular visits to cheer him up after the passing of her mom happened weekly. She spoke of the joy in his eyes when he introduced her to all his friends at the diner; and when out for dinner.

I only met him at Suzanne and Gregg’s wedding, but you could tell he was a solid family man with good moral values. That was such a happy occasion for all, full of great memories.

I would love to be there for an in-person hug, but instead it will have to be virtual. Sending love from Huntsville.

My condolences to the Sharp family. I’ve known Bill and family for probably 35 years or more? I was at the industrial restaurant Bubalou’s this morning when I talked to the guys who are everyday regulars there, I told them that crowd was getting smaller and one of the guys had mentioned of the passing of Bill which I was kind of shocked! Anyways again my condolences and trust me he’s in a better place now!
