Dear Joanne
As you know I did not really know Billy all that well. Just from our conversations in travel, but listening to you I do know he was a good man, and I also know how much he meant to you. I am so sorry for your loss. I do hope in passing times you will be able to know how lucky you were to have such a great partner. God puts us here but we never know for how long. Peace be with you my friend.

Condolence from Brenda Wood (Atkinson) on March 13th, 2011 1:43 am

Dear Joanne and family,
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Bills’ passing. Oh… such a hole will be left, Joanne. I will keep you in my prayers. Many, many of my childhood memories include Bill. I will never forget the twinkle in his eye. He was always up to something. It is unfortunate that our meeting again was due to the passing of his parents but it resulted in the opportunity to get to know you. No words can soothe the pain of losing your best friend, Joanne. I’m so sorry.
Prayerfully holding you up…
Brenda

Condolence from TAL ATKINSON on March 14th, 2011 2:27 pm

Hi Jo
The great memories that remain for me always…

Growing up Bill and I were always laughing, all the time, laughing at school, at work on the farm, everywhere.
Always laughing, and consequently always in trouble.
Even while being disciplined, we dared not look at each other, for fear of breaking out into more uncontrollable laughter, and compounding our discipline.
Still and always laughing with you buddy.

TAL
