My family is saddened to hear of your mothers passing. I remember the countless memories and also school songs from St. Anthony that Wavey would sing to my kids and when she told them stories their faces would light up! There were many fond memories.

So sorry to hear of your mothers passing. We only meet her a few times at church but found her to be a sweet lady who took the time to speak to us and make us feel welcome. Sure she will be missed.

Wavey had a way of lighting up a room, and bringing a smile to a sad face. She was a bubbly, contagious source of joy, and will truly be missed by all who knew her. I pray for God’s comfort and peace to rest on those who mourn; until we all meet again on the other side where there will be no sad good-byes..

As a little boy she was my baby sitter when my Mom (Doreen)
wanted to see my father (Smilin Jack Greedy) race his stock cars and when she had to do business errands.She was such a caring, loving and fun person. Her presence around the family will not be forgotten.
In the past few years occasionally seen her in Bolton and we had some great conversations. She touched many people in her lifetime and will be sadly missed. Mom lives in Victoria now and likely unable to attend the funeral, when I inform her Wavy’s passing she will be sad as they have seen much of each other also in past few years.

Your Mother was one of the most beautiful people, inside and out, that we have ever met. Her Christian walk greatly influenced our Christian walk and we are definitely the richer for knowing her. While we grieve with you over your loss, and we will miss her as well, we rejoice for/with her because we know where she is. May God bless and comfort you and yours.

As a young teacher your Mom inspired and taught me a great
deal about life skills . Yes had a great deal of education but she inspired me and taught me about humour , empathy, positive thinking, and something that I will never forget!

I will always remember her kindness and the two boys who were the centre of her universe!!
She said now hopefully they will marry the girls’s that will love them and keep them and believe in them to be the men that will make me proud.

I was so deeply saddened when I heard of the passing of your dear Mom. Wavey was a wonderful woman and inspired all those around her with genuine love and caring. She had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room. Over the years we had never lost touch and would catch up when we crossed paths in town, she was so very proud of her family.

We are sad in the loss of a GREAT warrior and servant of God. Wavy had such a humble and loving way about her, filled with so much energy, and a comforting smile. I was shocked and sadden to hear of the loss of a friend , her smile was so contagious and her personally was so real….her arms were welcoming every time we would see each other in Church, and the love of God would be beaming in her. My prayer will be, that the presence of God will always be with the family.

So sad to hear of Wavey’s passing. We had one of those ‘it’s a small world’ happenings. Originally we were neighbors when our family moved to Bolton (Ridge Rd). Our boys grew up at the same time. It was many years later in Zehrs we got to talking about Newfoundland only to discover that my Grandmother and Wavey’s Grandfather were brother & sister. We were cousins. Amazing how things happen. I never saw Wavey without a ‘smile’ to give. RIP among the Angels.

I’m sorry this is so late. I have just today become aware of Wavey’s passing. Please accept my condolences on her passing. She was one of the most courageous women I have ever known. The thought that she is with our Lord makes me smile.
